I keep checking the PACER site to see if my case has closed yet — nope, still open. So it has been over one month since the discharge. I wonder if it is case load for the trustee or if they are waiting for all creditors’ checks to clear…things that make you go, ‘Hmm’.  I want to ask my attorney, but each email I send — since my case with her is really complete — would cost several dollars.

Discharged does not mean case closed and now I need to investigate the limitations of being ‘in between’ those two words. I already did get permission to get credit if I needed it and also to establish joint checking once again with my husband.
